Had garage door jam on weekend just before leaving town.  Bill called back on a Saturday with helpful suggestions and made sure I got assistance first thing Monday morning. Got call right away Monday morning and was helped through the process of resetting the garage door myself - all fixed, no charge, and the office stayed with me as if I was the only customer in the world. Was able to leave town with my garage secure. Great service. Bill came a few days later and did a tuneup of the door at a very reasonable price - he was fast and efficient and professional and pleasant.  Now it works even better - closes with a gentle touch! S.S. White installed a new garage door for us a little more than 11 years ago. The spring had a rated life of 7-10 years but, with good maintenance, it lasted 11 years until it finally snapped. A friendly and knowledgeable technician was quickly dispatched to temporarily clamp the broken spring until a new one could be acquired, which took about 2 weeks. The same technician installed the repair and performed maintenance on the door so that it once again works great and is quieter than before! A pleasant surprise was the VERY reasonable cost of the work, MUCH lower than other nearby companies I checked with. I’ve been using SS White Garage Doors for nearly 30 years. They are the absolute best! The office staff is friendly and extremely reliable. Bill just came over to service my garage door. He diagnosed the issue within minutes. The part needed was ordered and the repair was made in a few days. Bill is so knowledgeable! That comes from being in the business a long time.
